Upgrade 08 Nav ???

I have an 08 with Navigation radio, but it did not come with satellite radio. Can this be upgraded without having to put in a secondary unit? Surely the thing can just be re-programmed?

No you can jsut reprogram, The sat radio in the 08 was a separate module. It bolts in right next to the clutch pedal. some trucks are already wired and some arnt, Ive got one that has the plug and one that doesnt, neither had the sat from the factory, you can look to see if there is an extra plug coming out of the steering column harness down low above the brake pedal that isnt being used. I dont know if the radio will still have to be programmed or if it would work by jsut installing the module.

Ive got one, 50 bucks for it shipped. You will still need the ant which is 56 dollars at the dealer with my discount, prob about 75 normal. PM me if interested.
