6.4 with a 6spd

Anybody have one? How do you like pulling heavy with it? I might be looking at one, and don't want to waste my time if they're no good, since the truck is out of state

They are, but I managed to find one . I love my 6.0 and will get that over the 6.4 for the fuel mileage, but I do like the common rail and the power from the 6.4. I wish it was louder though

Ive got one, Its a nice tranny same ones that has been in fords since 99, My old one was alot easier to shift from all the miles, this one is kinda stiff with only 25K on. They tow good but I jsut got home from a 1500 mile trip with my dad 2010 auto towing about 20K and I have to say I think htis will be my last stick.

I searched and searched until I found one. No complaints so far. Same trans that was in my 99 f250.

I would go ahead and grab it up but thts me and a love the handshakers plus when u start added mods all u really need is clutch and possibly fly wheel the only down side of them is the dang master cylinders i wont own a diesel unless its a handshaker and i agree i wish they were louder way too quiet for me

I had an 08 with a handshaker and I loved it. I towed my 15K 5er with it and it towed beautifully. Now I have the 2010 with an auto and love towing with it also. They both are great, just up to personal choice.

That's what I want to hear. I don't tow that heavy right now, but I don't want to be limited

1st, your welcome and it's my pleasure to serve this great country.

2nd, you will not be limited to just the 15K. The guy that bought my 08 tows anywhere from 20-30K behind it now towing a four car, car hauler behind him. He said he loves the way it shifts and he loves the control he has with it going down the hills. He has the spartan on it now and he said that with the 210 tow tune it is amazing... Hope this helps sir!
