08 Desiel Fuel Conditioning Module draining.

Ford recommends you drain for about 35 seconds or until all water is removed from the Fuel Conditioning Module once a month or if trouble water error message light is on. The module drain is located beside the transmission casing on the driver's side. I learned very quickly that it is MUCH better to open the drain spout by placing your arm/hand over the front drive shaft and open the spout from above. I was not able open the spout from below without having desiel fuel spill on my arm. When opened and closed from above with a container placed below this is a very simple/clean operation. Of course I am underneath my vehicle laying on a crawler and I do not have a lift!
