Ford Caught Me!!!!!

I have the 6.4 straight piped tuned intake blah blah blah......well i have a mod friendly dealer i always bring my truck to, well i had a oil leak that i couldnt figure out myself, brought it over to my buddy that owns a diesel shop and was told there were certain parts that he couldnt take off cause he didnt have the tools yet ( supposdly ford didnt release however true that is)...so i brought it over to my dealer well i get a phone call a week later....Ford made a SURPRISE inspection at the dealer and noticed my truck and about 3 others...and supposdly put our info in the comp and our 100,000 mile warranty is OFFICIAL GONE!!! ha well my bud thinks he can work around it we are still trying to figure it out....just thought i would post this as a small warning to you guys...true or not watch what u do....(hopefully this *** doesnt report me to the EPA)

wow. so much for that. how many miles do ya have and what other mods are ya gonna do now since theres no warranty?

no whinning here....thats the way it goes to play u have to pay thats why u work hard to play hard....no worries...just thought id pass my new knowledge of this across the board

i have 54,000 miles at the moment and not sure i love the truck but im starting to have a liking for the new stroker..ever the less im not worried about it i can do most of the work myself...but this fooockking oil leak is annoying its like the smallest drop u can imagine and no one me included can find it...i got my oil changed before i brought it in and they said it wouldnt leak at all so im hoping it was something stupid like filter (doubt it ) just trying to be optmistic lol

I tell anyone who modifies the exhaust system on the 6.4 to be prepared to put it back to stock before it comes in for anything. And I mean ANYTHING.

I thought Spartan had never had a warranty voided because of their tuner, if it was returned to stock before taking to the dealer... or did I misread one of the other threads?

He did not return it to stock his dealer was kool with it but some boys from ford corp. made a surprize visit and found the tuned truck.
