Door handle dam thieves

Where can one pick up a passenger door handle cheap ??? Dam thieves tried to break into the truck last week and they used a pry bar to do it. They tried to break the handle cover on the front passanger door to get to the lock to open the door. lucky that some thing scared them off before they got in. I gave a video of them to the police but because they look under 18 the cops probably wont do anything because the kids here just get a slap on the wrist and sent home here in manitoba. Now I have some body work to do and need a new handle. I have insurance but dont have the money for the deductable right now. I want to close the hole they left before it fills up with sand and gravel from the roads. Any info would help.

Either Ford or a salvage yard would be my guess. I put Jimmi Jammers on all my doors and tailgate, and VIN etched all of the windows. The Jimmi Jammers prevent the use of a screwdriver to pop open the door locks (which I understand is very easy to do.) You'd still have body damage, but you'd be less likely to lose your truck, etc.
I hate thieves, too!

at least the 08 does not have a key lock on the passange side so there is no rod avalabe for them to use to unlock the door. the knob rod is off to the side so it is hard for them to get.

I too have the Jimmy Jammers installed, and I did them myself. Great investment! They aren't too hard to install, but you do have to take the door panel off and fudge your way around to put them in. Some advise if you do install them, do not over-tighten the nuts! Which is easy to do.

Check out LMC Truck: LMC Truck Parts: Chevy Chevrolet Blazer S10 GMC Jimmy S15 Ford Bronco Ranger Pickup Pick Up Accessories/Catalogs

Pick the catalog for ##-08 trucks. Search for door handles. I've seen them in there.
