Unexpected but much appreciated surprise from Ford

I purchased my new Ford 2008 F250 Lariat Desiel 4X4 Crew Cab about 2 months ago. I got what I believe was a good deal considering this truck was brand new and just in the dealerships. I just got a letter and a check today for $1,000 directly from Ford Motor Company in appreciation for my being "one of the first purchasers of a new Super Duty in the country". This was in no way part of my "deal" to purchase the truck! The letter also stated "We know that our customers buy Super Duty to get the job done and we appreciate the confidence you have placed in us with your purchase".
It really looks like Ford means to get the desiel truck market back!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats. Now you can make a payment on it. I like those trucks a lot but me and the salesman had a hard time agreeing on numbers. But congrats on the money everyone appreciates that.

I bought mine at "dealer cost"!!! Still very expensive!!

Congrats! I hope that all the bad mojo about the 6.4 is just hype. I know what kind of reputation mine has for a 6 Oh. But I still love it.
