Newest Flash

Is there a new PCM flash out? My radiator was replaced in January and I was told it had the latest flash, via the tech telling me that the computer says it's up to date. My EGR valve was just replaced and I was told that they re-flashed it. Could this be the flash in the 2010's that regen every 1200 miles or something else?

regen ever 1200 miles? man, my 08 regenned every 100 miles until i fixed the problem...

My '10 regens about every 380 miles city driving....I wish it was every 1200 miles!

I don't know where I got the 1200 miles. Maybe the 2011 info, thinking it was 2010. My '08 regens every 400-500. Just wondering mainly about the flash. I didn't think there was a new flash out there that I didn't already have. I have a feeling they checked for the latest, realized I had it and they just told me they did it.

I'm with you guys, it seems as though my '08 goes through the regen cycle constantly and it was reflashed in June during a warranty repair.

Your truck will never go 1200 miles between regens. The latest flash forces a regeneration at 667mi, needed or not.

My truck used to regen once a tank. Lately its been every 200-300 miles. I don't get it. At the next o/f change I'll have my dealer take a look at it and see if I need some updates or a fix.

i went to mine saying as you did. Once a tank or 2 and now 100miles...They were like oh ya, 100 miles in normal... then i deleted it...
