12 volt power source
I have a 2008 Ford F 550 XLT Lariat Job 1 i am in the process of installing a power sliding rear window. Where can i find 12 volts under the steering column that is switched on and off with the ignition? Looking up under the dash i see a bundle of wires capped off on top of the emergency brake i know that some of these are for the outfitter switches on the console. I would rather not use those switches because then i would have to flip one of those switches everytime i wanted to open the window.Lets keep it simple and clean thanks.

I used the white wire with orange stripe for my switched accessory. It is under the steering column in the bundle of wires. Pleanty of slack to get a t-tap on it also. Good luck
