Aux powertrain control module?
Hey guys, im a bit new to the forums but I have a question that no one so far(not even my ford dealer) can help me with. I am trying to find some info on an auxillary powertrain control module for the 6.4. I have these modules on a 7.3 and a 6.0, but cannot get any info on the 6.4. I believe alot of people have these to adjust cold engine idle. I need to control the throttle from outside the truck to run a drilling rig which is PTO powered, similar to a tow truck or ambulance. Any help would be appreciated.

yep, when the module is activated, the engine revs to high idle. I can then adjust the throttle up and down with a rotary switch on the back on the truck, where i operate the drill. You can go here to see what it looks like on the 7.3: APCM - Introduction - 1994-1997 Power Stroke FAQ
