That's awesome!!! Imagine sitting at a light next to a new 6.4L...You rev up a little, letting the turbo be heard. Then he revs at you, shooting flames out the retarded looking tailpipe Ford just HAD to put on there, melting your rear tire!!! That is AWESOME.

How about some intellegent discussion here

The tail pipe is functional, to cool the exhaust gasses. The problem is the same for other makes also, GM uses an additional cooling system to cool there new pipes, and dodge just plain didnot make the epa ratings so back to the start. I beleive that the regeneration should be done manually or at least trigger a light telling the driver it is nearing time to do this and then let him choose which hill to do it or if he does not do it then at least let the driver know it is about to happen and give him a choice as to when and where it will happen . The flame looks like a large torch .
