Thanks for the replies!! I changed it out this morning, and it was easy to say the least, that is after I had to make two trips to the dealership! I had bought an aftermarket filter from Napa, and after I got the pan off, I noticed it was not the right one at all (part # was right for the truck, filter was not even close to the same). I went ahead and paid $7 a quart, because the nearest O'Reilly's is 80 miles away (will plan better next time). The drain on the pan is AWESOME!!!! Sure beats unbolting it and getting it all over the place!

jeez 30,000... am i wrong or is 30,000 miles sooner than it used to be. I thought the interval on my f250 gasser was 75,000. I work with guys that never change theirs. One guy has the v10 with 265,000 and he hasnt changed it since 85,000 miles, now hes scared to mess with it
