6.4 is a JOKE

Sorry guys, I am a FORD fan but come on! Look under the hood!!! You can't even see the block! How is someone going to work on it? Take it to the dealer and they will charge ALOT of labor just to take things off to get them out of the way so they can fix the prob!
For anywhere from $48 to $60,000 I think I would go out and buy a brand new 2 axle PETERBILT with a CAT or CUMMINS that would last 4 times longer than any Pickup!

Like I said, sorry bout the Bashing but Ill stick to my 7.3. 318,000miles and STILL dosent burn oil and runs just as strong as when it came off the lot!

With all the pictures I have seen it does look very highly cramped, and I feel sorry for the mechanics who will have to work on them.

Dude, 7" tip? geez that's ridiculous

These are all cab-off repairs. no mining out parts to get to the heart, the whole cab goes in the air.

It would take me 2 days to prep my truck to take to the dealer to have the cab taken off... lots of wires....

Havent had the pleasure.

I havent had a cab off the 6.4 yet but our good friend marc can have a cab off a 6.0 in less then an hour and that wasnt designed to do so. So if a 6.4 is designed to lift the cab hence all the quick connects and such i'm guessing probably 30 to 40 mins tops. I've drivin them and I like them. Not performance related but it has the best stereo I have ever heard from a factory.
