Going look at a 6.4

I going this morning to look at a 2008 f350 crew cab long bed. Hopefully we can get it in the price range I am looking for.

Went and looked at several 08's today test drove one (2wd drive though) all I have to say is WOW. It has a lot more power on take off than stock 6.0. I love the interior. I going back tomorrow to talk numbers about a 08 CC SB 4wd. An identical truck (options) but 07 was like $1500 more

Ford parts man tells me $1200 for the filter can. Hopefully the techs will chime in, but my take on things is the "dealer service" at 120K is replacement of the cannister not just a cleaning.

My tranny is the only problem I am having with my 6.0. I just want to be one of the first with a bad a$$ 6.4

Stump just go get a real truck all ready and if you really need a van look at the Econoline 250 or 350. You can even have it converted to a 4x4 if you want.
