2009 High Idle

Does anyone know if the high idle to the upfitter switches works on the 09 the same as the 07. Are the wire colors the same?

I would be interested to know as well, I have an 08. I know they idle up themselves during cold weather, but I would like to have it set all the time

I dont know if they are the same as an 07 but i just used the #4 uppfitter switch and the pto wire, both are right under the steering column and you dont even need a longer wire you can just use two connectors, i used deutch because i have acess to them but its simp plug in deal. I belive the pto wire was yellow but its marked right on the wire.

I used No 3 as it's the lowest amperage one, I will save the others for the winch, aux light, and e-locker. My other PC has some PDF regarding this, if you can't find it online just PM me and I'll send you the link.

Nah, no worries. My '09 has No 1 and No 2 as 30A, No 3 as 10A, and No 4 as 15A.

Perhaps it is a running change? Either way, refer to owners manual for specifics.

I had my dealer do it before pick up, didn't feel like dicking with it for one thing... and second messing around more than needed mid summer in the south.
