Got New Horns!

I finally got my Train Horns installed. I have to say they are louder than I expected, and they definitely clear the road. I even communicated w/ a train, which was pretty cool. I've got them mounted right under the passenger side rear door, along w/ the 3 gallon air tank and a pretty good size compessor. Only thing I don't like is the compressor, the thing is loud enough to drown out the sound of my PSD, thankfully it only comes on for 2-3mins at a time.

Good deal, what kind of compressor did you put on, or did it come with the horns. Wouldn't mind on board air in the truck.

Does the compressor only kick on when you blow the horns?
I would love some of those bad boys.

Rodslinger put some of the less expensive ones on his rig and I would like to hear his too!

I'll get a couple pics when I get home, and try to post them up. A sound clip is going to be a little difficult, but I'll try to get one. Here's a link to the place where I got mine: HornBlasters Air Horn Products Catalog! Find The Perfect Train Air Horn For Your Car Or Truck!

Just so you guys know, I didn't pay that much for it, I got some of it knocked off from a gift card and a Fire Fighter's Discount

The compessor only kicks on after they blow, I can get about 4-5 good 5-sec blows for the horns, before the tank needs to refill.

Even if you did pay full price thats still a good deal, since it comes with a compressor and tank.

I bet those K3A's are wicked loud
