6.0 egt question

I'm new to the diesel world and had some questions on what is normal on egts for the 6.0. I have on 03 6.0 4" turbo back exhaust with the bully dog power pup and outlook (still have the stock intake). I had a question on what egt's a stock 6.0 runs. With the stock program, I can punch the throttle from a stop and by the time I have hit 50-60 mph egt's will be in the 1250's and can go over that if I stay in the throttle longer. (this is when I am not pulling anything). If I change the program on the power pup to a tow tune egt's spike just as fast and when pulling a 7k trailer on level freeway I will be in the 1100 range running anything over 60. Put a wind in there and egts can go up very easily. Boost unloaded at wot is around 20-22 psi. When pulling a load up a hill it has spiked up to 26 on downshift. When I fist got the truck a couple of months ago it would pull 27 psi at wot unloaded and egts werer the same as what i am seeing now. The egt's seem a little high to me and I was wondering what others were seeing, or if there were any ideas as to why my egts where running high. Any advice would be appreciated.

you may want to as figure if it was warmer outside and if the a/c was on. I usually see 1150 hot summer day, empty,no ac. i have edge juice with attitude and run it in stage 5 unless i am puling a load. turbo back exhaust and no kitty

My egts on a 175hp tune can hit 1250 by 50mph and can bury to the peg at 1500 if I don't get out of it. Towing I just loaded probably 10k and was towing with my gauges thru the hill country and I would stay between 900-1150 on a heavy tow program... My egts were highest at 60-65 and a lot cooler closer to 900 when I kept the engine between 2k-2200 rpms 70-78mph. It also pulled a lot better with out cruise control and lighting the turbo early for the hills.... I still have a stock exaust as well. On the factory ford tuning there was a lot less power and the same egts and the truck worked a lot harder it seemed

This is good to hear, I have had the same question but just never got around to asking. This is about the same as I am running in my truck, it makes me feel a lot better to hear that these temps are normal for others also.
