Welded EGR

Ok, I have heard of people welding their egr but what are the welding? Their valve or what...??

It's a cheap, (better than nothing) approacch to an EGR delete. They are welding the up-pipe so exhaust gas won't recirculate but you still have cooland running throught the EGR cooler, which can/will still fail. Talk to Abrannan19 at FCDP about their Full EGR Delete. With this setup you will never have a EGR worry again.

Yes to an extent, my up pipe is welded up, I did mine long ago before Adam had kits or anyone else. Most where still getting kits together so I kinda did my own thing with a buddies' help

I stuck a freeze plug in my up pipe and also welded the egr valve itself shut so it cant be blown open from boost.

That's what I am talking about. Welding the actual valve not the pipes
