Cost to install ARP studs?
Please excuse me if this gets posted on the forum all the time but I didn't see much discussion on people paying out of pocket (I'm out of warranty!) for ARP studs to be installed. I would typically take on the job myself but without a lift it is nearly impossible to remove the cab. I've seen a few mixed stories as to whether the cab really needs to be removed or not but it seems like most people say it does if the head gaskets aren't being changed at the same time.
This is a 2005 F250 that I'm thinking about purchasing and I'd like to do the preventative type stuff before adding too many performance parts. Is there any good site that lists repair manual times for common jobs? |

Cost locally from a performance diesel shop runs a little over $3000 including tax. That also includes new gaskets, ARP studs, EGR delete, milling the heads to ensure they're true, all fluids and labor.
