What do you guys think?

I was at the dealership today getting some 7.3l parts, and I noticed an 07 Crew Cab Longbed, Red, 6.0l, Automatic. Basically the same thing I have, but 4 doors and longbed. Its bright red, with chrome bumpers, not painted like mine. My payment will go up by 10 bucks a month, but we are starting all over again for 5 years. Oh ya, its a 250 not a 350. I dont really tow much, and I can always do an add a leaf or airbags to increase my capacity in the rear. It has 17 inch wheels not 18 like I have, which means I should have a better tire selection with the 17's. I'm kinda torn right now. I would have to get new tunes, and exhaust. They love the Quadzilla Commander and grill insert, so I would need to get new stuff.

So, should I trade the 05 f-350 supercab, short bed, in for the 07 F-250 crewcab, long bed?

The longer wheelbase will give you a better ride along with the lighter suspension.
For ten bucks a month, hell, you only live once Pat!

How about posting a picture of each on here so you can get a more informed opinion poll.

I drove Mvanaukens truck last week - so i could see how his new SCT performed - and the ride of his new 250 was alot better than that of my 350.
I still like my 1 ton though....i don't like payments and interest so i'll keep mine for at least 200k miles which should be another 10 years

I voted no. I personally can't see spending the last two years worth of payments for basically the same truck with less mileage. I would say stick with your current one, and send the extra ten bucks to a charity (namely me ).

No, I wouldn't trade. Pay off the 05 and then continue to put the payment every month (plus 10 bucks!) into mods..you'll have a beast rather than a stock 07 w/ a few less miles.

How much of a loss are you going to take in aftermarket parts and accessories? Not sure about you Pat but I'd loose my tail if I traded mine in right now because of what all I've invested into it to get it the way I want it.
