upgrade fuel pressure spring?

i just saw an ad for an upgraded fuel pressure spring claiming upgrade fuel pressure and in turn gives a little more power. anybody ever done it? is it worth it, spring is only $20

sounds like the fpr shim mod to me.......people on here get mixed results from it, but no real power from it i think.

well i was looking at egr deletes and came across it at gillettdiesel.com, i had never heard of it before

You can get a BB or a part # 6592105 steel ball from a Bobcat Dealer for 10 cents that will do the same thing and put you at the perfect fuel pressure FWIW (which is not much). It's a pretty useless mod actually and remember........raising your fuel pressure does NOT insure that your are getting more flow from your pump. You could actually be getting LESS fuel by raising the pressure.

exactly, it does nothing for volume just pressure

I tried it and the spring put the presure @ over 95 psi which is way to high so I would say its not good as the spring is way to stiff.
