I haven't had good luck with the optima type gel batteries... I got autozone 1000cca duralast gold with a 3yr warranty. I was told when buyong both at the same time if one failed they would replace both. Remember to get both to avoid having more battery issue

When you buy one battery the old weak battery starts to pull on the new battery. This will cause the new battery to work harder to maintain a charge also make the altenator work to charge them both. When you replace the batteries at different times you will be killing a lot more batteries and having charging issues more often. . One battery was bad but in the process of trying to get by and use a used battery I ended up killing the altenator. So I decided to follow the recomendations of others and get them both and I think I spent $120 on them and $150 on the altenator. That was in febuary haven't had a issue since

yep I agree replace them both so you don't have any issues. I replaced mine with the stock motorcraft. I feel its a good battery. I have had 0 issues starting and using my 12k winch
