Why do ppl switch to the 03 turbo??

Correct! And for that reason it reduces back pressure which allows tuners to turn up the boost a little bit more.

how do i figure out how many my truck has it was built in 08/03 but its an 04

1996 ford f-250 7.3 powerstroke, 4x4, auto, sc lb, 140,000, FPR shim mod, straight pipe to a 6" stack
1993 chevy k1500 suburban 6.5 turbo diesel and nv4500 5 spd.....workin out the details
