The Start of a 2.6 pulling 6l

Here is a guy name Lance from Waynesfield, Ohio. He spent his last year dominating the tug a truck series in Ohio with basically and SCT,intake and exhaust. After a tough season and plently of people trying to get him to truck pull he decided to start sled pulling his truck. Through the summer he is going to be posting his updates within his chasis and motor combo. Ill share a little bit that he has done through the winter

The truck started out the normal truck with a lift and some pressure and courage from friends to start tug-a-truckin

They with the abuse it takes he decided to tow it there. Tug-a-truck is hard on trucks

Well shortly after this they started pulling her apart.

They were going with ARP head studs, Ported heads from GOGO Diesel, Trusted diesel performance fuel system, fuel bowl delete and oil filter relocator. Here are some pictures from the winter
Lift off

Cab off and motor starting to disassemble

Putting his girl to work helps

Then they paint the motor, installed the new ported heads from GOGO diesel and put her back in.

Next came the Trusted Diesel Performance fuel system and oil relocator

He is doing the injectors( we are running an undisclosed injector manufacture at this time. WE ill post the vendor shortly) and Trusted 66mm turbo in the next few weeks. Im going to try to capture all the motor updates and seaon pictures through out the summer. Should be an intresting summer for Lance. Ill try to get pictures from a few weeks ago him pulling. If not we will post pictures of his new injector and new turbo install.

well the benefit is there is basically more room, more filtration (places 2 spin on oil filters on the frame rail),a slight drop in oil temp. it really is a nice piece.

thanks rob!!!

Do you have any pics? So, you use a spin on filter for the fuel and the oil? One for each?
