exhaust help please

I am in the middle of installing a 4" magnaflow turbo back exhaust on on my 03 f-350, I cut the down pipe just in front of the cross member but am having a hard time geitting it out. I assume that it comes out from the bottom is there anybody could give me tips on how to get that thing out of there. Thanks

if you cut it in front of the crossmember, it should just wiggle out of there... ive done 2 trucks now a 05 and my 06 and i cut both of them in front of the tranny crossmember and wiggled them on out. you may have to lift it up a little, there is a small hanger on the top of the flange where it mounts to the turbo but im sure you would have seen it when you took the clamp off, i cant really think of anything else that would help you. youll get it.

Thanks,
Adam

It does come out from the bottom.

Is it still attached to the turbo? When I did my exhaust the hardest part was getting the old down pipe off the turbo. The band clamp came off easy enough, but it took lots of banging, wiggling and cursing to get the pipe to break loose.

Good luck

bend the little tab that holds the flange to the turbo and it will fall off of there

Yeah have to get in there with a screw driver and bend those back, a little penetrating oil helps too.
