Turbo Q?

I'm starting to get a strange hollow howling noise from my turbo while passing cars at highway speed. first the turbo whistle starts then it goes to a howl. What does this mean? Am I going to have issues with my turbo soon?

you might have two things happening ,either the turbo is stuck open and it will cause ,a bad howling at higher boost or you have a split in the intercooler boot which wil also cause a abnormal noise only under heavier accell, need to get it looked at , have codes pulled ,if turbo is stuck ,it wil probaby ie code p0299, needs to be cleaned or replaced , have them look at the intercoler boots

Thanks for the info. I checked for any codes and there are none, also checked the inter cooler boot and it looks fine. I suppose I should bring her in anyway.
