Not Your Average 03' Turbo Swap Question

I know there has been plenty of discussion on swapping an 03' turbo and pedestal onto a later model truck. I have looked all over the forum and cant find the answer to this question. I have a spare 05' turbo sitting here at my house with only about 30K on it. Is the 10 blade impeller on the exhaust side of an 03 removable or non removeable from the common shaft and could it be bolted on in place of my 15 blade on my 05? I am not even sure if the impeller is sold as a seperate part from ford. Just trying to avoid from buying another turbo if I can. Any info is very much appreciated!

I am pretty sure it is, but you really need to call a turbo shop to verify. I know some of the modded vgt mfgs. prefer the later housing (05^) with the 10 blade wheel so there is a way to do it, just not sure if it requires anything special to do it.
