U-Joint Life
How soon have you had to replace your u-joints? I think it's time for mine at 135k. I probably should have done it sooner, but now I've developed a driveline shake that's so bad my pinion seal is starting to seep a little. I'll be doing it this weekend, just wondered when you guys have had to replace yours.

I think I did my rear around 60,000 the first time, 110,000 a second time, and a third time around 150,000. I am sure I will be doing them again around 200,000.

Have you changed the carrier bearing at all? Those things are pricey and hard to find. Mine still spins smooth and the rubber is in good shape, just curious.

Yes I replaced the carrier bearing once. Cost me about 55 dollars at the local driveshaft shop. That was with me removing the d-shaft and taking it to them. They pressed the old bearing off and the new one in. Then they checked the d-shaft for ballance.
