Brake Boosting

Is it bad for your truck and when you launch from 4x4 can you safely switch from 4 high to 2wd on the fly?

doesnt matter about switchin it cause it will never disengage until u get almost stopped.

When im driving it disengages from 4X4 high to 2X4.

but the driveshaft will still be turning and hubs will stay fully locked until u get to a slow speed

Light will go out, but it is still in 4x4 like said. If it disengaged under load there would be lots of parts to clean up.
