Blackstone Report

Just got my first Blackstone report back.
Test oil had 5500 miles, all looks good, truck has 94000 hard miles, the last 70k modded!
Just wanted to say!

Kool, did they say you might try going longer than 5500 miles on the next change?

Yes, and I usually do but the truck did some funny surging a couple of times, while setting at stop signs, didnt through any codes, but I changed the oil and pulled a sample just to be sure.

It could have been a quart low - that is all it takes to have an effect on the HPOP an injection system i believe.

Blackstone Labs

I beleive these tests usually run $20-30 bucks and worth every penny. If you go onto the blackstone website Blackstone Laboratories and register they will mail you a free test kit. You fill up the 3-4oz. bottle and mail it to them. They'll get back to you with several different test results.
