Mechanic also says ICP pigtail must be replaced, oil leaking on it . This just started why is the pigtail so bad? We have Chilton manual and other info but no mention Of ICP. Advice badly needed.

I "think" on the early models its in the back of the engine, the newer ones are up front on the passenger side valve cover.... email powerstrokehelp.com

03 engines it is on the rear of the motor up underneath the turbo. you gotta take the little heat shield off, i think it is 3 10mm bolts and then u need a 1 1/16 sensor socket to fit the icp and take it out. did one on my 03, wasnt too bad once u find it. i got to mine from underneath with it on a lift. kinda need skinny arms or u will scrape yourself up. hope this helps.

studs, 4" lift with 20x12s and 33s, factory 05-07 headlights......all coming sometime when cash flow allows!

I replaced mine without replacing the wiring and it is just fine. As mentioned, it is behind that heat shield, once you get that off it's an easy job.
