Old Flash New Tune

My 04 6.0 has the older ford reflash on it where the injectors run for 45sec. after you shut it down I was wandering we just ordered the Edge Evolution for it when its tuned is it going to be like a new flash as long as it has a tuned installed as far as the injectors not running after its shutdown or is that something only having it reflashed by ford can cure?

Also my 06 straight piped sounds like a vaccum cleaner (aka 747) when idling how can I get my 04 straight piped 6.0 to sound like my 06 at idle if i have a new flash would it change the way it sounds when it idles?
