just wondering about......

Hey guys just had some questions regarding exhaust.... Mods can move this if its in the wrong section. When doing a straight exhaust, whats the best size to go with when the motor is mostly stock, maybe an air filter and fuel management system. I want to do a straight pipe, just unsure of the size.

Id think 3.5 or 4 inch would be good if your not going to add a lot of power...

generally a 4" straight pipe is the most common, along w/ a 3.5 or a 4"dp to a 4"straight is most suitable to almost everyone, the only reason to go bigger is because of a slight change in sound, and also for the higher hp truck
a good intake is the DIY intake, just search it and there's good steps to follow
Fuel should be fine, unless you have the high hp

If your running a 6.0, leave the intake alone it flows very well. You don't want to go any bigger than 4" TB unless your running more than 500 hp. A programmer (SCT) is the cheapest 'fuel management' system.

4" would be good. I know a guy that has a dodge running about 700hp proven on the dyno and still runs the stock exhaust. It is the biggest sleeper in the world. Im sure you will be fine with 4"

I've never heard of that module your buddy has, but I would recommend using a SCT ONLY. Get with Raul, he'll set you up a great deal on a package (exhaust, SCT, and guages) :burnout
