ummm yea
I am confused now
 I am coming across all these different part numbers for headgaskets and cant seem to find anything to tell me the difference in them? I am assuming I need the 18mm gaskets but I have came accross these part numbers: 4C3Z-6051-EA 5C3Z-6079-D 4C3Z-6051-EB Can someone please tell me the difference in these part numbers or which part number I need to use?

not sure about the middle one but i will bet that the first and third ones are head gaskets for left and right sides. i know my 5.4 truck had 2 different numbers for the HG respective to each bank

the numbers on the top and bottom dont come up but i am guessing that they are indeed the actual gaskets. the middle number is a valve grind gasket set. basically all the gaskets neede to take the heads off to do valves. if you are looking for just head gaskets, i suggest phoning the ford dealer with your vin or just order the valve grind set. it comes with everything needed for a 18mm or a 20mm including 2 types of up pipes ( different length )

This is the main reason I am asking cause both of these are on ebay for decent prices and dont know if they will work seeing they are both different part numbers
eBay Motors: 6.0 Powerstroke Head gasket set 03 04 05 06 (item 150341810895 end time May-03-09 20:18:41 PDT) eBay Motors: 6.0 head gasket set (item 180351281964 end time May-04-09 12:26:22 PDT)  kinda iffy anyways since they have not sold much stuff

the first one you posted is the one you want. that is the one i was referencing to. it is the identical kit i bought when i did mine and i have parts left over cause mine was the 18mm one as well. 05 and up i believe is the 20mm.
