torqshift black pug harness removal

So doing the solenoids on my trans, have the pan dropped, and the big plug that all the wires to the solenoids split off of, and then goes through the trans and out where the black harness bolts into. I need to remove the internal plug to get to the solenoid I need. I undid the top harness, then spun it and lowered it as far as it will go but it willl still not come out. Does anyone know the final steps? Thanks!
