Is it possible?

First of all, sorry for all of the posts recently all of which being pretty long.

As some of you guys may know i have been looking into this 2003 Ford SuperDuty F250 Crew Cab and i was wondering if its possible to conver this to a diesel? and im talking major parts. I dont car bout badges, as i am going to strip them sooner or later. I have a price range of about 12k and i am wondering if i can swap it for under that amount. Thanks.

Thanks in advance.

Devin

i would just wait till you find a 6.0 for 12k. you need so much stuff to swap, engine, harness, pcm, i dont even think the gas trans is the same as the 6.0 5r110?!?!

just all the other bs things you would need to do a swap like that its not even worth it IMO.

What you need(about)

engine including turbo
trans
PCM(expensive)
Harnesses(EXPENSIVE)
drive shaft(? I dont know if the trans/transcase are same length)

Either buy a wrecked truck snag all the parts you need then part out the rest or find someone that has a truck they are parting out on and get the stuff.

If you did the labor yourself the price would be REALLY close depending on how much you get the parts/donor truck for. If your not doing the labor -forget it.
