looking at a SCT livewire. should I do a exhaust or head bolts BEFORE I put a tuner on my truck
I just got it a month ago 05 FX4 SC 4wd sortbox F350 22,500 miles. my truck is complete stock, Im just looking for just a little more power but better mileage when towing a 20' aluminum gooseneck horse trailer.
put about 140 mile on the other day with 5 horses and got 12MPG. not complaining just looking to see if I can get better

I would do exhaust, head studs, and egr delete. And do gauges and tuner about same time

do exhaust, guages, egr delete, use a high quality synthetic (mobil 1, amsoil), zoodad mod, a S&B air filter. Your still under warranty, I would not get a turner or mess with the head studs yet, until there is a noticeable problem, and if there is, get ARP headstuds and have a reputable Ford dealer install them for you under warranty.

Get rid of the crappy ford limited slip and install a detroit locker, and if you want more pulling power go to 4.30 gears and pull anything you want
