straight pipe
well, i wasnt going to do it but its the best thing to do until i decide to do a full 5" turbo back when the warranty is up. So i'm going to order the pure diesel power muffler delete. question is, how good is the fitment... how long did it take to install, and how hard would it be to go back to stock if i wanted? i think i may order it next week.
before when i installed my cat delete pipe i drove around for a bit on open downpipe, it sounded bad *** so i can only imagine how she'll sound straight piped.

Are the service departments in the Louisville area that bad about mods? Mine said the best thing for me to do was put the exhaust on it. They don't care about the SCT either. Guess every dealership and service department has there own opinions.

honestly i have a dealer here that is OK, they put my studs in for me, but i don't want to take the chance. although i'm seriously contemplating deleting the EGR cooler so that would void my warranty anyway. Either way, a $60 pipe to delete the muffler will make her sound good and bring my EGT's down even lower till i decide to spend the $$ on a full exhaust.
