Rear End Info

My axle code is 3L and that means its is 3.73 with Limited Slip. Correct?

If so, what brand fluid are y'all using to change it out and what about the friction modifier? Thanks

I don't know what the code means but I used Royal Purple synthetic and 4oz of friction modifier. I have 3.73s with limited slip

No, I got it at NAPA. They even sell it in a 4 oz tube so you just shoot the whole thing in.

it the code on the rear end tag is 3l 73, then its limited slip 3.73.

Royal Purple already has the modifier in it.

You definitely have wayy to much modifier in it now. Which means your limited slip, WILL NOT work correctly

If you bought the right weight for our rear ends, it has the friction modifer in it.
