Shock help.
My truck is 5 years old this month and has 53,000 on the factory shocks. So i am thinking it is a good idea to replace all the shocks. I will be getting the Bilsteins 5100. I have a 2.5in leveling fit and 2in blocks in the back. Anyone got they part # for the shocks that will work the best. Also what is the best website to buy these things at?? Thanks again.

Pm DCSpecial, he is a vendor here and will get you set in the right direction. I have them and don't regret the purchase at all the ride is outstanding even for a 1 Ton truck.
Hazard, the 5100 series shocks are valved specifically for these trucks. Try them out, you won't be disappointed. |

I ordered some online today. I got the Heavy Duty ones...Never used them before but my Ranchos are shot. They have a special right now on certain ones were it is buy 3 get 1 free. I saved 70 bucks, the price of one shock!.
FRONT :F4-BE5-C295-H0 REAR: F4-BE5-C296-H0 I know there are probably better ones but thats what i could afford for now. Hope this helps you. |

They make a noticable difference in ride quality, well worth it. My only gripe is the lack of a clear coating on them, look like crap after six months. If I had it over, I would of sprayed some clear coat on them before installation.
