water in fuel light

My light came on and was wondering if I need to change the fuel filters or if I can just get away with draining the water seperater thing? Also if I need to change the fuel filters should I change the oil and oil filter too?

I guess I went into too much water when I was in the mud

All you need to do is pull the plug and drain it, no need to change your filters unless they are due. I do mine every 10k miles.
