High mileage is nothing. The real Killer is the engine hrs.

my '06 has just turned over 75k
one guy at work '06 104k
another guy '04 235k

we are all running strong with minimal issues thus far.

I have one '03 at work with 107k and this last year we had to dump like 5k into it in order to keep the piece of junk running. But those 107k miles probably have more engine hours then the guy with 235k so I really can't complain.

All & all I would say I am pretty happy. The rest of the fleet has about 100k on them and are running strong. People give this engine a bunch of crap and I don't agree. It has been working for my company since '03 and I think they will keep running for years to come.

I know of a hot shot driver that has 160K miles on his 03 6.0 and it on the 4th engine but original tranny.

The OP asked about 6.0's with over 100K miles and I gave him an answer. Out of the 5 6.0's in my family 1 has over 100K miles. When and if the others make it to 100K I'll tell the story's on those ones. Hey at least I gave a positive response about the tranny.

Just went over 103 and running great. Pulls HEAVY loads weekly and doesn't give me any crap. Hope to get a lot of miles outta this one!!
