2004????

Found a couple nice 2004s with just under or just over 100K miles. Something to stay away from or not? My buddy has a 2004 that has caused some problems but was because the previous owner had a pretty decent chip on it. Most of the trucks i am looking at are totally stock.

I have a 2004 I bought used with 50k miles and no mods.
I now have around 85k and have had no problems.
Be sure to get an Oasis report before you buy a truck to make sure your not buying a lemon.

No major issues here with my '04. I love the truck. Ge the oasis report and make sure the oil has been changed, fuel filters, oil filter etc. Maintenance records is critical!

well thats what i like to here. I also have found an 05 with around 120 for a relative good price. I guess my big question is is it ok to buy a 6.0l out of warranty with over 100k miles.?

I also have a 2004 PS with 53,000miles and had no big problems at all. I love the truck. I bought it new with 4 miles on it. I keep on top of everything. It has been a great truck. Alot of people say the 04 still hads some problems but so far i have had 0 problems. But then again i only got 53k on it. It still has a long way to prove it self.

mine has 60k and i acquired it all stock. if you can get a stock one that would be the way to go. by now i'd say its has all the service bulletins/recalls complete. but get documentation, like above (oasis, carfax, etc.) dont be afraid of '03's and '04's or any year as long as you can verify what kind of "life" it has had so far. good luck with it.
