Air Box Mod

I read someone's sig that said they had done an 'air box mod'. What is that?

Is it different than zoodad? I've done the zoodad, just did not know if there was some other change to be made to the stock air intake that could possibly improve things.

Please advise.

OK. So there is not some other mod to the air box to help it out? Good then and thanks.

you can put a drop in filter in there like an AFE or something and just take off the front cover off

Yeah, I have thought about that. But with the zoodad, and I already have a good AFE drop in, I am fine. Maybe after I get my exhaust put on, hopefully tomorrow, I will experiment with that idea. Otherwise, the zoodad itself showed a pretty good improvement thus far.

It's the OEM filter, I have had no issues with rain or snow. I do block the front during temps under 40*F in order to keep the IAT's warm.
