P132B code

Hi,

Been away for a while motoring and living life.

I've got a 2003 F250 2WD with a 6.0L and about 82k on the clock.

Yesterday on my way to pick up a new water heater, noticed check engine light was on.

Hooked up my laptop and got P132B and P132B*

Sounds like variable vane turbo might be sticking.

I'm getting boost tho.

Thoughts before I pull the turbo (and try to clean it up)?

not trying to steal the thread but what type of software do you have that allows you to hook your truck up to your laptop and check codes and such? where did you get it and how much did it cost, and what all can you do with it? thanks man

p132b can be a software issue that was addressed in early year model 6.0 , as far as i can remember the latest calibration update will eliminate that code from popping up

Is there a flash after the inductive heating? Because I have that one and have had the code pop up once. Just wondering if there is a new flash cuz I haven't been following the boards too much lately. thanks.

i was also wondering if there was any more info on this code. my early 03' has the same code, with no drivability concerns. i had the latest flash done a year ago and never had the code before it, or after it till now. bone stock truck besides exhaust. BUT i do have a crank/cam sensor code. and it did cut out a few times because of them codes. either way im still confused.

p132b is normally set by the sticking turbo. tear it down and inspect your turbo to find the root cause.
