My local NAPA is selling fuel filters at 50% off, YES or NO??

I was in my local napa store picking up some oil and other odds and ins. The sales person told me that they were having a 1 DAY sale on april 22, 2009. Included in this sale was all napa gold and napa this and napa that. He said that WIX fuel filters would be selling for 38 dollars a set on that day. Are these fuel filters okay to use? He told me that these WIX fuel filters were more expensive than the Motorcraft kit. (The last time i bought motorcraft fuel filters at Napa they charged me 69 dollars and some change)
