Checking the turbo?

How do I check to see if the wastgate/turbo is working properly?

I can get 20-25 pounds of boost on the guage but power seems lacking and for the life of me I cant get it to flutter when I let off.....before it would do it at the drop of a hat and now I cant seem to find the hat.

the 6.0L doesn't have a wastegate,it has variable vanes that change when needed (how I don't know)20-25 lbs of boost sounds right.you might have sticking vanes if lacking power.

I have it booked in with Ford on thursday so I guess I will find out.
