EGR eliminator.....

I have been reading some posts about the EGR eliminator. What is it and is there a kit for it? Does it make the engine run better? What are the advantages and downsides?

This up pipe is in the rear of the engine, can it be replaced with the cab in place? Also, will the new part trigger a permanent code light? I do not have a tuner nor will be using one.

the uppipe is located on in the passenger side rear, and yes you can take it off and on with the cab on. its easier to pull the wheel well out.

the uppipe wont throw a code. but on some trucks 05 and newer, removing the valve will throw a code
