REAL oil pressure gauge

is anyone using a mechanical oil pressure gauge on a 2005 6.0l. and if so did you tee it off the oem oil sensor on top of the engine. and what pressures are you seeing at cold start up and at operating tempature. thanks for any infomation.

I wouldn't use a mechanical oil presure gauge unless you have it under the hood. It's worth the cost in case it ever goes bad. I've had two friends ask me how to clean oil from the carpet because of that.

well you can use a electric gauge. that way there is no chance of a leak. same goes for a fuel pressure gauge.
