VeRy!!!!!! Rusty frame
On my father n laws 04 f250 with 41,000 miles it has an horrible rust problem on the frame any have an idea of what to use to clean it up or prevent future problems.

Yeah new frame lol. Your best bet is clean it up the best you can with a wire wheel or CAREFULLY with a grinder. And rust-proof paint or undercoat it. And you can't prevent future rust as in preventing it from coming back, you can only remove the current rust.

get it oil sprayed this year and next year ... then you will slow it down

I know alot of people have had great results from POR-15, you paint this stuff over the rust after prepping the metal.works great

|
a couple guys i know take their old motor oil and brush it on the whole underside of their trucks. one truck i looked at the previous owner put axle grease all over to prevent rust.

 talk about messy.... yes like said before there is different things that you can spray/brush on it to prevent/stop rust.... and I know that some products say that you can even do it over rust to stop.... well not for sure how good that works but I would try to get rid of the rust first then cover.... and if it isn't just surface rust.... well then you have a different problem on your hands
