6.0 with 330k miles......is it possible??

I might head out this weekend and check out an auction in Indiana that has on the list a 05 6.0 slated to run with 330k miles. Can these motors last that long? I thought they were junk? I am not to familiar with these motors but have heard nothing but bad things, have driven them and they have some get up and go but what would be price to steal this truck? I believe a crew not sure if its 4x4 or would it be even worth the chance spending money on this truck?

I don't see a reason that this isn't possible. Yes the 6.0's have some week points, but some trucks will never blow a head gasket, and / or it may have been studded at somepoint.

heck yeah its possible. A 6.0 is not junk as long as you take care of it

There was a dually f350 diesel 2005 crew cab on ebay a couple months ago for a really low low price, said needed engine replacement, or at minimum a rebuild, had 319k miles on it before engine took a poop, thats insane!

I found one in milwaukee 380k on an 05, they were asking 5 grand. The 6.0l is a great engine.

Definitely possible. I bought my 05 used in 2006 and it had 114,000 on it then! A guy with a construction company had it hooked up to a gooseneck hauling equipment from site to site non-stop for those miles too. Didn't bother my conscience one bit to buy it. Helluva deal for me!!!
